The so-called “sciences” and “soft sciences” are often seen as separate: while one clinicalizes that which we encounter each day, the other seeks to explore the earthly nature of experience. One such dissonance can be found in food science, where the emotion bound to our nourishment is removed. SNACKS: Volume 1 is centered around surreal connections and storytelling in recipe magazine format. Distributed to the University of Maryland Food Science department.
